Day 1 | November 5 | Kansas City, MO

Relax and enjoy the ride aboard your luxury motor coach as you head to Missouri today. You’ll make a stop in Iowa to visit the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum. This is Iowa’s premier veterans museum, displaying artifacts and stories of Iowa Veterans from the Mexican War of 1846 to the present day. Drury Inn & Suites Kansas City Stadium

Day 2 | November 6 | Abilene, KS

Today begins with a self-guided tour of the National WWI Military Museum and Memorial in Kansas City. This is the nation’s only public museum dedicated to WWI, with a large collection of photos, weapons, and more. After lunch, you’ll have a guided tour of the Combat Air Museum. The museum has 41 aircraft ranging from the earliest aviation period to present day and an extensive display of artifacts and dioramas as well as a growing gallery of military aviation art. This evening you’ll have an included dinner at the Brookville Hotel, which has roots back to the 1870’s when the railroad spread their tracks out across the prairie to meet the expected rush of Longhorn cattle coming up from Texas along the Chisholm Trail. Day 3 | November 7 | Omaha, NE

This morning at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum you’ll have a guided tour followed by free time to further explore the museum. In addition to documents, artifacts, and photographs of his presidency, you can explore Ike’s boyhood growing up in America’s heartland. This afternoon there is a guided tour of the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum which focuses on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force and is considered to be one of the premier air and space museums in the nation. You’ll be staying in down- town Omaha this evening, so be sure to explore this beautiful area at your leisure. Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown * Breakfast Included

Day 4 | November 8 | Watertown, SD

Before departing Omaha today, you’ll have a guided tour of Freedom Park, which serves as a United States Naval Museum on the Missouri River and home to the USS Marlin SST-2 submarine, the only target and training USN submarine left in the world. In addition, it has the only complete collection of USN anti-aircraft guns held entirely in one park. Ramkota Hotel & Watertown Event Center * Breakfast Included

Day 5 | November 9 | Home

The day begins with time to view the Watertown Veterans Memorial followed by a visit to the Redlin Art Center. Explore at your leisure this amazing art gallery where over 150 of Redlin’s original paintings are displayed. There is an included lunch at the museum where you can sit on the patio overlooking Conservation Park. This tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Fagen Fighters WWII Museum, home to a pristine collection of fully operational, active aircraft and vehicles from WWII. This museum is designed as a self-guided experience and gives you a rare look into the lives and legacy of the Greatest Generation.
