Day 1 | March 9 | Omaha, NE

Arriving in Omaha this afternoon enjoy lunch at Casios Steak House with an Irish Fiddle performance by award-winning fiddle player Deborah Greenblatt. Then it is off to Boystown for a tour of the expansive campus. Preserved in time inside this world-renowned village are the Hall of History Museum, historic chapels, gardens and Father Flanagan’s 1920’s home. Enjoy an authentic Irish dinner of corn beef & cabbage, Irish stew and bangers & mash at Sean O’Casey’s Pub. New Victorian Inn & Suites * Lunch & Dinner Included

Day 2 | March 10 | Omaha, NE

Your morning begins with some leisure time at the Old Market and an opportunity to see the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. After the parade, a delicious lunch at Spaghetti Works will be followed by a tour at the Mormon Trails Center at Winter Quarters, complete with Irish story teller Cherrie Beam-Callaway. Cherrie is an educational storyteller who speaks with an Irish brogue, dresses in period attire and delivers spell-binding one-act plays depicting historic tales from Nebraska families. Your dinner and entertainment tonight at Embassy Suites include Irish Folksingers Dave Marsh and Marty Dowds in addition to Irish dancers. This evening’s entertainment is the Celtic Journey at the Holland Performing Center. The Celtic Journey is a symphonic presentation of traditional Irish music, story, song and dance and features time-honored Irish marches, reels, jigs and ballads. Day 3 | March 11 | Home

A leisurely start to your day with a breakfast accompanied by a Celtic harpist performance. Enroute home, a self-guided tour of the DeSota National Wildlife Refuge and the Bertrand Steamboat Museum where you will see thousands of cargo items that were excavated from the Bertrand Steamboat which sunk in 1865.
