Enjoy the beautiful countryside as you ride in a luxury motor coach to Iowa this morning. This afternoon, explore on your own the Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame. Located at the Greenfield Municipal Airport, it is dedicated to preserving Iowa’s aviation heritage with a large collection of vintage planes. You’ll arrive at the Drury Hotel in time for the always favorite Kickback, providing complimentary hot and cold appetizers and cocktails. Day 2 | July 27 | West Des Moines, IA

Enjoy a leisurely start to your morning before heading off to the West End Architectural Salvage for a little fun and shopping. You’ll be part of a Scavenger Hunt, where you will look for an identified piece of furniture and then tell them what it is made of! After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of the National Balloon Museum in Indianola. Dedicated to providing a thorough understanding of ballooning and its history, it archives more than 200 years of ballooning. This evening you’ll attend the National Balloon Classic, where you’ll witness nearly 100 hot air balloons competing for prizes. Sit back and enjoy the live music and the sky filled with colorful balloons. Perhaps you’ll choose to buy a balloon ride for a one-of-a-kind view! As you begin to make your journey home, you’ll stop in Arnold’s Park for a Queen II Excursion on West Okoboji Lake.
