Day 1 | March 9 | North Platte, NE

Day 2 | March 10 | Colorado Springs, CO

Following lunch today, explore at your leisure the Garden of the Gods. As a registered National Natural Landmark, you will see 300 feet towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak. Tour the Visitor and Nature Center and be sure to see the view from the terrace, one of the most photographed views in Colorado. Day 3 | March 11 | Albuquerque, NM

This afternoon arriving in Albuquerque, take the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway which stretches from the northeast edge of Albuquerque to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains. This is the world’s third longest single span! Evening Accommodations at Drury Inn & Suites * Breakfast Included

Day 4 | March 12 | Holbrook, AZ

Your morning begins with a drive through the Petrified Forest National Park, one of the world’s largest and most vibrantly colored assemblies of petrified wood, historic structures and archaeological sites. Lunch will be at the Painted Desert Diner adjacent to the Painted Desert Visitor Center where you’ll experience hands-on exhibits to get in touch with the natural landscape. Day 5 | March 13 | Williams, AZ

On your first full day in Arizona, you start with a visit to the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument Visitor Center where you learn about the volcanic eruption 900 years ago that forever changed the landscape. Enjoy a walk down the Lava Flow Crater Loop down to the base of Sunset Crater Volcano. The walkway is paved for ease in walking. After a brief visit to the Cameron Trading Post for some shopping and refreshments, you head to the Grand Canyon. Starting out with lunch at Delaware North, you move to the Canyon View Information Plaza where you have ample time to enjoy the Rim Trail. Day 6 | March 14 | Cottonwood, AZ

After a brief drive to Sedona, enjoy the morning for shopping and exploring on your own in downtown. Lunch is at the train depot, followed by a first-class trip aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad. This fully-restored vintage train provides a four-hour, 20-mile canyon excursion reminiscent of a time when train travel was luxurious and leisurely. Day 7 | March 15 | Phoenix, AZ

Moving on to Phoenix today, a stop will be made at the Montezuma Castle National Monument. Gaze through the windows of the past into one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America. See first hand the ingenuity it took to survive in this unforgiving desert. Arriving mid-day in Phoenix, you will have the remainder of the day to rest, relax, or do some exploring on your own. Day 8 | March 16 | Phoenix, AZ

The day starts with a guided tour of the Phoenix area. The tour will feature the Arizona Capitol Museum, Camelback Mountain, and a drive through Paradise Valley. Day 10 | March 18 | Phoenix, AZ

Day 11 | March 19 | Gallup, NM

After a leisurely breakfast you are on your way to Mesa, where you will board the Desert Belle for a boat cruise on Saguaro Lake. Relax in air-conditioned comfort while you enjoy a 90-minute narrated tour featuring towering canyon walls, dramatic desert vistas and exotic Arizona wildlife. The cruise will allow you a very unique and comfortable way to enjoy the beauty Arizona has to offer. You will continue on to Gallup, New Mexico, your final destination for the day. Day 12 | March 20 | Trinidad, CO
