Day 2 | March 27 | Springfield, OH

As you continue your journey to Washington, D.C., a stop will be made in Indianapolis for a guided tour of the President Benjamin Harrison Home. President Harrison, the only U.S. President from Indiana, built the home in 1874 and lived here until his death in 1901. Day 3 | March 28 | Gettysburg, PA

You arrive in Gettysburg later this afternoon where you will have time for a walk through Gettysburg National Cemetery. The cemetery serves as the final resting place for more than 3,500 Union soldiers killed in the Battle of Gettysburg, the battle that is believed to have been the turning point in the Civil War. Day 4 | March 29 | Washington, DC

Your day starts at the Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center, followed by a guided battlefield tour at Gettysburg National Military Park. Established in 1864 to preserve the actual battlefield site and create a memorial to those Union soldiers who fought in the battle. In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour of Mount Vernon. Originally built as a one and one-half story farmhouse owned by his father, it took Washington 45-years to enlarge it to the current 21-room estate. Day 5 | March 30 | Washington DC

You will have a full day of sightseeing in the D.C. area today. An experienced step-on guide will take you to all of the most beloved sites in D.C. Some of the highlights included on this tour is the U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Museum of the Bible, Holocaust Museum, and Arlington National Cemetery. Day 6 | March 31 | Washington DC

You will be joined again today by a step-on guide as you continue to explore the city. Some of today’s highlights include Air Force Memorial, Pentagon, 9/11 Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Korean and Vietnam Memorials, and the Kennedy Center. Day 7 | April 1 | Washington DC

Your first tour today will be the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The Basilica is the largest Roman Catholic Church in North America and you will find it absolutely breathtaking. Those wishing to attend mass at the Basilica are welcome and the lower level will be open for those that choose not to attend. Following the Basilica, you tour the Smithsonian National Museum of American History/Natural History where you will see articles exhibited from some of the most significant events and periods in our history as a nation. Later today you can personalize your experience with free time to choose from a variety of museums and gardens in the area. Be sure to catch one of the local street vendors for a bite to eat. Day 8 | April 2 | Philadelphia, PA

Traveling out of D.C., en route to New York, there will be a stop at Kitchen Kettle Village Shops where the best from Lancaster County is showcased. Day 9 | April 3 | New York, NY

The majority of your day will feature a guided city tour of Philadelphia. Day 10 | April 4 | New York City, NY

Today you will visit some of the iconic locations that make New York City one of the greatest travel destinations. Your step-on guide will take you to the Empire State Building, Central Park, Grand Central Station, downtown New York City, 9/11 Museum and Memorial, Wall Street, Greenwich Village, Chinatown and Little Italy. Day 11 | April 5 | New York City, NY

You will continue to explore New York City as your guide joins you for a tour of Ellis Island, the portal for twelve million immigrants into the U.S.; and the Statue of Liberty, one of the most recognized symbols of our nation. Arriving in Chicago after lunch, you will visit the Skydeck for The Ledge Experience.
