Itinerary

Day 1 | August 21 | Green Bay

Today’s travels will take us to Green Bay for an evening stay. Evening Accommodations at Comfort Suites Green Bay

Day 2 | August 22 | Sister Bay

Your day begins with a ferry ride to Washington Island. En route your guide will explain the history of the outlying islands and their individual lighthouses. A stop at the Danish Mill get a glimpse of what the islanders do in the winter as you browse the gift shop filled with handcrafted items. Following lunch you visit historic Washington Harbor and School House Beach. At the farm museum your guide will introduce you to life on the island without electricity. Before taking the ferry back, learn about commercial fishing in Jackson Harbor and view Wisconsin’s smallest state park. Dinner tonight is in Ephraim at the Old Post Office Restaurant for an authentic Fish Boil. Evening Accommodations at Open Hearth Lodge * Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included

Day 3 | August 23 | Sister Bay

A delicious, authentic Swedish breakfast of Swedish pancakes with lingonberries starts out your day, followed by a guided tour of Door County Peninsula. The tour includes such favorites as the Koepsel’s Farm Market where you can sample Wisconsin’s famous cheddar cheeses, a guided tour of Bjorklunden Chapel, as well as the many small villages along the back roads known as the “Cape Cod of the Midwest.” After lunch and some free time for shopping at Founders Square in Fish Creek, enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting at Orchard Country Winery. Day 4 | August 24 | Tomah

A drive through Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin’s largest State Park, allows you to experience the beauty of the shoreline. The drive brings you to Eagle Bluff Lighthouse for a guided tour. The lighthouse was manned from 1868 to 1926 and allowed many vessels, filled with both cargo and immigrants,safe passage. Arriving in Oshkosh this afternoon, experience the EAA (Experimental Aviation Association) Museum with both a guided tour and free time to explore on your own. Day 5 | August 25 | Home

The last day of the tour brings you through Winona for a stop at the Watkins Museum and Store. Breakfast Included
