Day 1 | July 15 | Deadwood, SD

You’ll begin your Wild, Wild West journey today arriving in Deadwood, SD for the evening. Of course, no trip to South Dakota is complete without a stop at Wall Drug! Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort

Day 2 | July 16 | Sheridan, WY

Today begins with a beautiful drive through Spearfish Canyon, with thousand-foot-high limestone palisades in shades of brown, pink and gray. There will be stops along the way at Bridal Veil Falls and Roughlock Falls, allowing you time to take in the beauty of the canyon and to take some great photographs. Following lunch, you’ll have a guided tour of the Brinton Museum, located at the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains on the historic 620-acre Quarter Circle A Ranch near Big Horn, Wyoming. It is the only museum where you will find an impressive collection of historically significant art and artifacts from the region. After your tour, enjoy a delicious dinner served right at the museum. Day 3 | July 17 | Cody, WY

Another beautiful drive this morning as you make your way to Cody. You’ll stop at Shell Falls and visit the Interpretive Center before continuing on to Cody, where you’ll enjoy lunch at the Historic Irma Hotel. The hotel was built in 1902 by Buffalo Bill Cody and named after his daughter Irma. After a little free time to explore Cody at your leisure, you’ll have a guided tour of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The center actually consists of five separate museums – Draper National History Museum, Buffalo Bill Museum, Plains Indian Museum, Whitney Western Art Museum, and the Cody Firearms Museum. Experience the epic stories of Yellowstone and the American West together in one location! Day 4 | July 18 | Yellowstone, WY

Your day begins at Old Trail Town, consisting of 26 buildings dating from 1879 to 1901, one hundred horse-drawn vehicles, an extensive ollection of memorabilia from the Wyoming frontier and authentic Indian artifacts. You will virtually step back in time! As you continue your journey to Yellowstone, you’ll stop at the Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center. After exploring the interpretive center, be sure to walk to the top of the dam and look down 325 feet to the Shoshone River. Arriving in Yellowstone, you’ll lunch at the Lake Hotel and then enjoy the Lower Loop drive through Yel- lowstone with stops at Lookout Point and Grand Prismatic Spring. Stopping at Old Faithful, there is ample time given to dine and experience the magnificent Old Faithful Geyser. You’ll overnight in Yellowstone National Park. Day 5 | July 19 | Jackson Hole, WY

You’ll depart Yellowstone National Park today and enter the stunning Grand Tetons National Park with a stop at beautiful Jackson Lake. Arriving in Jackson Hole, get a better look at the Tetons with a Jackson Hole Aerial Tram Ride. In just 12-minutes you glide skyward 4,139 feet! The summit offers staggering views of the Jackson Hole Valley and surrounding mountain ranges. At the top be sure to indulge in a gourmet waffle at Corbet’s Cabin. Accessed only by the aerial tram, and located 10,450 feet up, these special waffles are a treat not to be missed. Day 6 | July 20 | Jackson Hole, WY

A full-day of adventure awaits you today with a Wildlife Safari and Snake River Float trip. Beginning with the Wildlife Safari you’ll tour Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park stopping at locations such as Antelope Flats, home to historic homesteads and herds of bison and pronghorns. Wildlife frequently encountered on this safari include bison, elk, deer, moose, pronghorn, fox, bear, bald eagles and more. So be sure to have your camera ready for a picture of a lifetime! Following your included lunch, you will be geared up at the Jackson Hole Whitewater boathouse for the river portion of the day, a leisurely 13-mile river float down the scenic Snake River. Day 7 | July 21 | Laramie, WY

En route to Laramie today, you’ll stop for a self-guided tour of the Museum of the Mountain Men. The Museum contains over 15,000 artifacts and was established to provide a visual and interpretive experience into the era of the mountain man, the Plains Indian, and the Oregon Trail. Day 8 | July 22 | Cheyenne, WY

Laramie is home to the Wyoming Territorial Prison, which opened originally in 1869 and housed violent and desperate men and women who plagued the settlers arriving in the new territory. Your guided tour of the prison is filled with stories of the notorious outlaws once housed here, including Butch Cassidy, and you’ll learn why prisoners were required to be silent at all times, wear black and white striped uniforms, and why work and learning a skill was mandatory for all prisoners. This afternoon you’ll arrive in Cheyenne, where the renowned Frontier Days will be in full celebration. Design your afternoon and evening to meet your specific travel interests in Cheyenne. Our motor coach will continuously make looped trips between downtown Cheyenne, Frontier Days Park, and the hotel. Spend all or part of your time in downtown Cheyenne, where you’ll find amazing restaurants, spectacular shopping and of course exceptional historical sites such as the Depot Museum or the Cowgirls of the West Museum. Another option might be to jump on the trolley for a historic tour of Cheyenne. At Frontier Days, you can catch the PRCA Wrangler Pro Rodeo or in the evening take in the Professional Bull Riding event. If music is more your interest, the evening concert always brings in heavy hitters such as Toby Keith or Florida Georgia Line. (Concert performers to be announced at a later date.) Or perhaps you would like to visit more historic sites at Frontier Park such as Old Frontier Town, the Indian Village or explore the Carnival Midway where food and fun is around every corner. Day 9 | July 23 | North Platte, NE

Frontier Days wouldn’t be complete without attending the Grand Parade, where you’ll see some of the top marching bands and horse-drawn vehicles in the country. It’s 90-minutes of cheering fun! Be sure to check out local food vendors on the parade route for an opportunity to get a delicious mid-morning treat. After lunch, you’ll leave Wyoming behind and arrive in North Platte, NE. During a guided tour of the Golden Spike Tower in North Platte, you’ll get a 360-degree view of Baily Yard, the world’s largest classification rail yard where they manage 10,000 rail cars daily! You can also step out onto the open-air observation deck to experience first-hand the sounds of Baily Yard and get a magnificent view of the plains of Nebraska. Day 10 | July 24 | Nebraska City, NE

Before leaving North Platte, enjoy a guided tour of Buffalo Bill State Historical Park. Originally the 4,000 acre Scout’s Rest Ranch, the historic park now contains Buffalo Bill’s home, built in 1886 at a cost of $3,900, which has been restored and filled with period appropriate furnishings. The barn and outbuildings now contain a collection of antique carriages that belonged to Bill as well as a variety of memorabilia from the days of his world-famous Wild West Show. Later in the afternoon, arriving at Lied Lodge, enjoy a Chef’s Choice Dinner and Mystery at the Mansion, an interactive murder mystery event. Day 11 | July 25 | Home

Before your tour comes to an end, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Mansion at Arbor Lodge State Historical Park. See the splendor of this 52-room mansion, loaded with family artifacts and mementos from J. Sterling Morton, the founder of Arbor Day. After a delicious break at Pie Garden Cafe, where the name says it all, climb aboard the open-air wagon and embark on a guided Discovery Tour to the heart of the orchards and forest to learn about Arbor Day Farm’s conservation practices at work. The tour concludes this afternoon as you return home. Breakfast Included
