Day 1 August 1, 2021 |  Home to Davenport, IA

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful countryside as today will be a travel day.

Day 2 August 2, 2021 |   Davenport, IA to Bloomington, IL

Arriving in Illinois this morning, there is a guided tour of the Rialto Square Theatre, a restored vaudeville movie palace. Your tour also includes lunch and a pipe organ concert in the beautiful theatre. After several stops at famous Route 66 roadside favorites, tour the Route 66 Association Hall of Fame & Museum.

Day 3 August 3, 2021 |   Bloomington, IL to Springfield, IL

Today begins at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum and the Old State Capital building. Lunch is at the Cozy Dog Drive Inn, home of the original hot dog on a stick! This afternoon, enjoy the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, followed by a visit to the Route History Museum. This evening, at the Lincoln Tomb & War Memorials you’ll be present for the flag-lowering ceremony

Day 4 August 4, 2021 |   Springfield, IL to Fenton, MO

You’ll continue today along Route 66, with brief stops at various highlighted Route 66 roadside attractions such as the Litchfield Museum & Route 66 Welcome Center and Henry’s Rabbit Ranch, a classic filling station where you can purchase gifts and collectibles. Your afternoon will be at the Legendary Mustang Sanctuary, a rescue organization for wild mustangs and burros.

Day 5 August 5, 2021 |   Fenton, MO to Rollo, MO

This morning take a stroll on the historic Chain of Rocks Bridge, the longest bridge on Route 66! At the National Museum of Transportation, view historic modes of transportation. After an included lunch and short visit in Maplewood, you’ll stop at Ted Drewes Frozen Custard for a taste of St. Louis’ famous frozen custard, followed by the Cuba Murals & Route 66 Information Center.

Day 6 August 6, 2021 |   Rolla, MO to Springfield, MO

Today begins at Funk Yard, a unique experience to your Route 66 tour! Your day also includes the Laclede County Route 66 Museum and the History Museum on the Square. The day concludes with a visit of the Route 66 Car Museum, featuring over 70 vehicles!

Day 7 August 7, 2021 |   Springfield, MO to Kansas City, MO

A visit to Fantastic Caverns, complete with a ride-through tour, begins your day. Later, in Independence, enjoy a self-guided tour of the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum.

Day 8 August 8, 2021 |   Kansas City, MO to Home

Traveling home today, your fun-filled Route 66 tour concludes
