DAY 1 | August 8 | Marshall, MN to North Platte, NE

Today will be a travel day as you make your way to North Platte, Nebraska. Arriving in North Platte, we enjoy an included dinner as a group. LaQuinta Inns & Suites * Dinner Included

DAY 2 | August 9 | North Platte, NE to Fruita, CO

Your travel day will be taking you into higher elevations as you enter mountainous Colorado. LaQuinta Inns & Suites * Breakfast Included

DAY 3 | August 10 | Fruita, CO to Moab, UT

This morning arrive at Dead Horse Point State Park for spectacular views of the La Sal Mountains, Canyonlands National Park, and the Colorado River 2,000 feet below. You’ll move on to Arches National Park in eastern Utah, known for containing over 2,000 national sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch. Stops are made along the way for viewing and photographs, as well as a special place to enjoy a picnic lunch. Moab Valley Inn * Breakfast & Lunch Included

DAY 4 | August 11 |  Moab, UT to Page, AZ

The day begins at the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center, followed by a guided tour of Monument Valley. Monument Valley provides some of the most awe-inspiring scenery you’ll ever see, which is why it is the most photographed place on earth. Your tour will also include a Navajo Taco Lunch. DAY 5 | August 12 |  Page, AZ to Springdale, UT

The day begins with an Antelope Slot Canyon Boat Tour, where you will explore the Lake Powell side of world-famous Antelope Canyon. Your experienced tour guide will share details about spectacular Lake Powell, the nearby Glen Canyon Dam, and the Navajo people that once inhabited this region. Following lunch, you’ll enter Zion National Park; a nature preserve distinguished by the canyon’s steep red cliffs. Here you can follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers once walked and witness a unique array of plants and animals native to the park. Hampton Inn & Suites * Breakfast Included

DAY 6 | August 13 |  Springdale, UT to Bryce Canyon, UT

Today features a Zion National Park Tram Tour followed by a scenic drive to Red Canyon, with stops for photos and viewing. After a stop at the Red Canyon Visitor Center, you’ll enjoy a Cowboy Buffet at Ruby’s Inn at the Main Lodge. Following lunch, you’ll enter Bryce Canyon, known for the crimson-colored hoodoos, which are the spire-shaped rock formations seen throughout the park. Once again, stops are made throughout the canyon for photos and viewing. Best Western Ruby’s Inn * Breakfast & Lunch Included

DAY 7 | August 14 |  Bryce Canyon, UT to Evanston, WY

This morning you will be traveling North to Wyoming. Stopping in Provo, UT, you’ll visit the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum featuring a collection of mounted birds, fish, plants, and reptiles from around the world. In Provo Canyon, witness the stunning beauty of Bridal Veil Falls, a 607-foot-tall double waterfall. You’ll overnight in Evanston, Wyoming. Holiday Inn * Breakfast & Lunch Included

DAY 8 | August 15 |  Evanston, WY to Jackson, WY

Arriving in Jackson Hole this afternoon, you’ll have the afternoon to explore the city. There are numerous must-see sites such as the Town Square featuring arches made of shed antlers from the nearby National Elk Refuge and the National Museum of Wildlife Art. DAY 9 | August 16 |  Jackson, WY

You can’t have a national park tour without a visit to Grand Teton National Park. Featuring 310,000 acres of lush valley floors, mountain meadows, alpine lakes, and the peaks of the Teton Range, you have to witness it personally to believe the splendor of the park. Once again, as you travel through the park, opportunities for pictures and viewing at overlooks will be made. Enjoy a provided lunch in the park. 49’er Inn & Suites * Breakfast & Lunch Included

DAY 10 | August 17 |  Jackson, WY to Casper, WY

Following breakfast this morning, you’ll visit the National Bighorn Sheep Center, where you will explore the rare and fascinating Bighorn Sheep. After lunch at the Wind River Heritage Center, enjoy a guided tour of the center where you’ll be entertained and educated through wax figures, full-body animal mounts, a trapper’s cabin, 1900’s-era farm equipment, and much more. DAY 11 | August 18 |  Casper, WY to Rapid City, SD

You’ll travel this morning to Hot Springs, South Dakota, to The Mammoth Site for a guided tour that includes the Bonebed Tour, Behind the Scenes Tour, and the Scenes Lab. The site features one of the largest concentrations of Columbian mammoth bones, and it dates back 26,000 years. Of course, a stop will be made to visit Mt. Rushmore National Memorial in Keystone. One of the most recognizable sites in the world, Mt Rushmore features 60- foot high granite sculptures depicting Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln. DAY 12 | August 19 |  Rapid City, SD to Home

Today is a travel day as you make your way home. Following lunch, there will be a guided tour of the Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop, where they fully restore western horse-drawn vehicles, stage coaches, cannon, and wagon wheels. Each item is historically authentic. You will arrive home this evening. Breakfast Included
